It is a 100% cotton paper produced on a cylinder-mould machine using traditional materials and manufacturing processes. This makes the paper robust and absorbent with a look, feel and a texture reminiscent of the finest handmade papers. Its innovative design ensures uniform washes (without pigment accumulation), true-to-life vibrant colours and incredible detail. It is easy to correct and lift-off colours on Canson® Héritage, whether the paper is wet or dry. The working time of the paper is optimised, with the paper remaining wet for a long enough time allowing artists to paint calmly without rushing.
